About the Author
Roseann B. Termini, Esq., B.S., Ed.M., J.D.
The author has written these all-inclusive
books and articles in Life Sciences Law focusing on the complex
field of pharmacy, food, dietary supplement and medical device law.
This recent third edition of LIFE SCIENCES LAW provides a
comprehensive all-inclusive approach to this multifaceted area of
law. The companion third edition of the Electronic Searchable Statutory CD
contains a reference chart, key websites, the entire
federal food and drug act and important related laws. Being an
experienced educator herself, Ms Termini was careful to design the
Instructor's Manual in a practical format.
Ms. Termini served as an appellate
law clerk and was the sole corporate counsel for a pharmaceutical
company and a regulatory affairs attorney. As senior deputy
attorney general, Office of Attorney General, Ms. Termini successfully
litigated and prosecuted numerous cases at the trial and appellate
levels. Her special appointment involved the implementation of the
Plain Language
Consumer Contract Act and she was recipient
of the first Plain English Clarity Award.
Ms Termini lectures extensively on
specialized food and drug law topics and has taught food, dietary
supplement and pharmacy law courses for several years at numerous
academic institutions including Widener University School of Law,
Dickinson Penn State Law School and Temple University.
Specific expertise includes her online teaching of these courses in
executive graduate programs at University of Georgia, Drexel and St.
Joseph’s Universities. Her role as course director for detailed
courses in food, dietary supplement, pharmaceutical and medical
device law involves comprehensive lectures. Her academic online
teaching includes concentrated food, medical device, dietary
supplement and pharmacy law courses.
In addition to her impressive legal
background, she has authored numerous articles in scholarly
publications primarily focusing on specialized issues involving food
safety, dietary supplements and pharmaceutical law. She has also
written about the environment, constitutional issues and Plain
English drafting. Besides her professional association committee
appointments, she is a contributing author and serves on the
editorial board for a medical device and pharmaceutical publication
and is a founding board member of the Center for Pharmaceutical
Health Services Research. Featured addresses focus on food safety,
medical devices, dietary supplements and pharmacy law related
topics, corporate accountability and ethical issues.
